GOT HEALTH INSURANCE? Just the Facts: Q & A for Owner/Operators of Small Business

October 1st begins open enrollment for individuals and small businesses in the American Health Benefits Marketplace.

Coverage begins January 1, 2014. But many small business owners, currently uninsured individuals, and persons in the individual health insurance market are not sure what to do.

A Question and Answer Session at The Partridge.

Georgians want to know:

Health insurance is too expensive now; what if I can’t afford it?

Do pre-existing conditions disqualify me or an employee?

What's covered? Are there annual or lifetime caps?

Will my business be charged for not providing insurance?

Tim Sweeney, health policy analyst from the Georgia Budget and Policy Institute, and Bill Rencher, attorney and public health officer from Georgia Watch will preside at a Question and Answer Session with small business owners and individuals about the protections and costs of health insurance sold through the new American Health Benefit Marketplace in Georgia.

To attend the Q & A Session, Please RSVP to Michael L. Reynolds at mlrreynolds@gmail.com
