The Monticello High School volleyball team recently completed a successful season with a fifth place finish at the 1A state volleyball tournament. The team won three matches in the tournament and dropped a match to runnerup Piute on the way to a fifth place finish. The Lady Bucks fell short of their goal of a third straight state championship, however all but one team member will return next year.
