The View Hotel, The View Restaurant and Monument Valley Trading Post was featured as the grand prize during the showcase showdown on the January 26 edition of the popular and long running game show The Price is Right. The estimated viewership of this was set at five million.

The View Hotel, restaurant and trading post is owned by Armanda Ortega–Gordon of ARTSCO Inc. a Navajo owned company. ARTSCO has made it a goal and has worked diligently to market and promote worldwide not only Monument Valley but the entire Navajo Nation. The View Hotel has been featured prominently in the New York Times, Los Angeles Times, USA Today in addition to European and Japanese television to mention a few. The August 29, 2011 edition of Budget Travel “10 Restaurants with Spectacular Views” featured The View Restaurant as the only restaurant in the U.S. with such a prestigious listing.
