For the second month in a row, Blanding has had more rain than normal, compared with less rain than normal in other area communities.

Year-to-date figures show a similar trend, with Blanding significantly wetter than normal (54 percent), compared to close to normal numbers for Bluff and Monticello.

Summer temperatures were consistently warm, with the summer high in Monticello just 92 degrees and 97 degrees for a summer high in Blanding. Highs exceeded 100 just a few days in Bluff.
