This is Manuel Boone. One day, as he passed by San Juan Mortuary, Manuel and mortuary owners Danny and Amanda Palmer had an opportunity to talk about the mortuary and how special of a place it can be for families.

They talked about the importance of keeping the yard clean and beautiful for families that come to the mortuary. For the past month, the Palmers noticed that as the kids walk home from school; Manuel was picking up trash, and even limbs, on the grass.

So they want to honor Manuel for being such a good citizen of Blanding. He has shown care for his community, his neighbor, and the families that come to the mortuary to honor loved ones. They thank Manuel as an example to everyone around him.
