We may not like the designation, but it may be a gift to our communities in disguise. I figure that all the foreign and US tourists should be made aware of this new National Park like resource at our door step. We should use State of Utah tourist bureau funds to advertise it. We should push for grant money to develop our cities to have the capacity to deal with the large numbers of new tourists visiting, so they don't have to go back to Moab to sleep, eat, buy things, and hire outfitters. This could be an opportunity of a lifetime to get in on the ground floor. If the monument goes away, this opportunity very well could too. Are you sure you want to give up a sure thing for an unknown?? Tourists have money and they want to spend it in our towns! Believe me.
