Busy Pioneer Day celebrations

It will be a busy weekend in Monticello beginning on Thursday, July 25.

In addition to the annual Pioneer Day celebrations, the community will host the annual Blue Mountain Fastpitch Softball Tournament and the Hideout Amateur Golf Tournament.

A list of events is including on page 14 of this issue of the San Juan Record. Application forms and additional information can be found at the Monticello Chamber of Commerce website at http://monticelloutahcoc.com.

New events this year include a Farmers Market and an “Infected Zombie” game on July 25.

A series of family reunions and Monticello High School class reunions are also scheduled to take place.

The celebration culminates in a fireworks show on July 27.
