Crews have been busy working on the restoration of an old cabin on Horsehead Point, east of Monticello. George Barry homesteaded on the property in the 1930s. His granddaughter, Natalie Green of San Antonio, TX, now owns the property and is overseeing the restoration work. The contractor, Jim Bilyeu, has spent many years of his career restoring log cabins all over the country. Older photos are from the 1930s. Courtesy photos
