At 3:30 a.m. on March 6, two buses pulled away from San Juan High School filled with students heading for “Expanding Your Horizons”, the annual girls’ career fair at Utah Valley University.  Heading north they stopped at Monticello High School to pick up three intrepid students:  Heather Howell, Kayla McArthur and Courtney Yazzie.  This popular career day has been described as fun, helpful, and “Opened my eyes!”  Melanie Daniels also said she “recommends it to all. It was fun and who doesn’t like to make friends and learn in new places?”   UVU also has an annual career fair for boys in November. Pictured at the career fair are Teasha Jacobsen, Sierra Whipple, Delaney Nielson, Jordan Giddings, Melanie Daniels, Rebecca Silversmith and Kiara Pugh.
