Christmas tree fee may increase

The Manti-La Sal National Forest is proposing a fee increase for Christmas tree permits. As proposed, Christmas tree permits on the Manti-La Sal National Forest would increase from $5 to $10 per tree beginning this November.

The forest service requests that comment on the proposal be submitted by October 24 to ealexander@fs.fed.us; to 599 W. Price River Drive, Price, UT 84501; or faxed to (435) 637-4940. For more information, call 435-636-3567.
