Events this year are dedicated to the memory of Marilee Bailey, a beloved Monticello resident who recently passed away from cancer. Bailey had spent the past years coordinating cancer screening through the district health department office.
A meal, provided by the Monticello Lions Club, will be served from 5 to 7 p.m. at the LDS Stake Center pavilion east of the Monticello Post Office.
Afterwards is the annual walk from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Monticello Memorial Mill Site Park. Luminaries line the path and honor cancer victims from the area. Your donations are deeply appreciated.

Marilee was a fun person when I knew her 35 years ago, I have no doubt she was a great lady in life. She deserves to be honored.
