Extended Friday schedules will be used to make up the two days lost to bad weather in the San Juan School District.

The District announced that instead of holding school on Saturdays or previously-scheduled holidays, the school day would be extended on four Fridays between now and the end of the school year.

School will run on a full day schedule on Friday, April 5, 12, 26 and May 10. School is generally dismissed at 1 p.m. on Fridays.

As a result, the previously scheduled school holidays on April 19 and 22 will remain as no school days.

A massive storm resulted in back-to-back snow days in the school district on February 21 and 22.

Call the Superintendent’s office at 435-678-1211 for more information or if you have questions.
