Harvey Robert Graham, the oldest of three children, was born to Charles Gardner Graham and Rita Joy Graham on March 2, 1952 in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.
He was called home to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 28, 2016, and will be laid to rest in Sunset Memorial Cemetery with his parents in Moab, UT.
His prayer throughout his illness was that it all would be for God’s glory and that God’s will be done.
Harvey is preceded in death by his father, mother, and mother-in-law.
He leaves behind his wife, Vickie Graham; former wife: Zonna Graham; children: Cynthia (Rusty) Montague, Marissa (Benten) Kester, Michelle (Joe) Keith, Bobby Graham, and Heather Graham; grandchildren: Tyler Montague, Harley (Stormy) Kester, Tayler (Tiffany) Kester, Skyler Montague, Riley Montague, Kanyen Kester, Eric Montague, Lealand Keith, Alexis Keith, Jacy Montague; and great-grandchildren Raidyn Kester, Oaklynn Ashurst, and TJ Kester.
He is also survived by his sister Sue (Robert) Winder and niece: Lindsay (Ron) Martin and sister Donna (Ed) Maass and niece: Maia and nephew: Matthew.
Harvey is also survived by his aunts: Jan “Porty” (Bob) Harden, Bobbie “Mim” Carmicle, Kay “Toots” Bowie, Jettie “Pinky” Spangle, and Bonnie Sue Graham.
Harvey also leaves behind his father-in-law: Herman (Linda Henry) Stroud; brother-in-laws: Wayne (Debbie) Stroud, Chris (Susan) Fredrick, sister-in-laws: Roseann (Stan) Egbert, Tracy (Russell) Walkup, Lucinda (Matt) Miller and their families, as well as, many cousins and numerous friends.
He was a hardworking man who was able to do anything that needed to be done and do it well—he was a jack of all trades.
Some of his early work included working for the owners of “Hole in the Rock” when the original family lived there and for the gas station at La Sal Junction, as well as, in a bakery and an ice house.
He worked for El Paso Natural Gas, which later became Northwest Pipeline and then Williams, from which he retired in 2005 after 36 years of service.
He loved the outdoors and enjoyed camping, hiking, fishing, traveling, and above all spending time with family.
Graveside services to be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, September 10, 2016 at Sunset Memorial Cemetery in Moab, UT.
