Jerry Ann Harral was called home Sunday, May 27, 2018.
Jerry Ann was born to Leon William and Beryl Harden Adams on June 17, 1940 in Moab, UT. She was raised in Monticello and counted everyone in town as family.
After graduating from Monticello High School, she enjoyed attending BYU and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in teaching, focusing on P.E.
She married and later divorced Joe Harral.
Jerry Ann loved playing outdoor sports, especially softball. She even coached some of her children’s teams.
Music really enlivened and uplifted Jerry Ann. She sang with her whole heart and spirit.
Jerry Ann raised her six wonderful children. She was blessed with twelve grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Another great-grandson joined the family in September, much to Jerry Ann’s delight.
Many, many friends and extended family have taken time to stop by and talk about Jerry Ann. All agreed she was kind, considerate, loving, nurturing, and caring. Others added she was energetic and still acted years far younger than her age.
Besides her love of her living family, Jerry Ann loved working on genealogy and thrived doing temple work.
Jerry Ann is preceded in death by her parents, Leon and Beryl; her sister, Nancy; and Nancy’s fiancé, Bud Albretchsen.
The family left behind here on earth without her include Adam and Leena Harral with their children Shaun and Natasha Harral Hartman, Amy, Kaylee, and Brandon, Jaron Harral, Daniel, Aubria Harral and Roran, Andrew Harral, Paxton and Melissa Harral, Batya Harral, Reba Harral; Bradley and Shelley Harral and their daughter Miranda and Jordan Gomez; Kelly Harral; Felicia Harral; Coby Harral and his children Ocean and River Harral; and Claudio and Melany Lynn Harral Higuchi and their sons, William and David.
Visitation will be held Saturday, June 9, 2018 from 10-11:30 a.m. in the Monticello North LDS Chapel, located at 347 North 200 West in Monticello. The funeral service will begin at noon.
Graveside is at the Monticello Cemetery.
