Chief Jim Hook and Capt. Gary Lichtenstein (right to left) accept two checks for a total donation of $5,000 to the Bluff Volunteer Fire Department from Mr. Kim Seeley, owner of Seeley Oil Company, LLC ,and Redrock Well Service, LLC.

Seeley’s donations are the largest ever received by Bluff VFD. Chief Hook said, “Mr. Seeley’s generous donation means a lot to our firefighters and to the town. Along with other recent donations from Bluff residents, Mr. Seeley’s gift pumps the morale of our members to the roof.”

Chief Hook added, “We pledge to put this money to work” by improving training and equipment.

Bluff VFD responds to approximately 40 calls each year. Bluff VFD was the first arriving unit at the ski bus accident last winter near Valley of the Gods.
