Monticello College recently hosted an inaugural Statesman Economic Summit over four days at the growing campus in Monticello. A wide variety of topics were discussed, including the “Origins of Liberal and Conservative Thought”, “A Global History of Economics”, “Century Cycle”, and “Summary of the Global History of Slavery” by Travis Patten.

Other topics include the US and international banking systems, concepts of Free Enterprise Government, “Personal Financial Autonomy”, the “History of US Currency” and the Electro-Magnetic-Pulse.

The Statesman Economic Summit is an annual event and will be held again in September, 2017.
