The Homecoming Royalty was announced after a pageant featuring 11 contestants on September 9. The homecoming queen is Izabell Slade, with First Attendant Yeni Carranza, Second Attendant Atlanta Black, and Miss Congeniality Quincey Ryan.

Special honors for their service to the school are given to Sue Anderson, Betty Jensen Sitton and Doyle Rowley.

Preliminary events this week include a volleyball game against Grand on Tuesday in Moab and a powder puff football game on Wednesday.

The homecoming parade begins at noon on Friday, September 16, with the game against Duchesne beginning at 7 p.m. and a dance on the football field beginning at 10 p.m.

Alumni Association events on Saturday include a memorial service at 10 a.m. at the Monticello Cemetery, a gathering at Veterans Memorial Park from noon to 4 p.m., and an open house/reception at the high school beginning at 7 p.m.
