Mark your calendars for the first ever Monticello High School wrestling reunion.  The event is being organized so all wrestlers can get together to remember the past and celebrate their memories of MHS wrestling. All alumni who participated in wrestling during their time at MHS are invited to attend. 



The reunion will be held on Saturday, November 28 beginning at 5 p.m. Events will include plenty of opportunities to meet and visit. Food will be an important part of the nighth, but a weighin is optional.



The Alumni Wrestling Match will begin at 7 p.m. in the MHS gymnasium.  Matches will be assigned by weight, and will consist of three one-minute periods.  The event is a fundraiser for the MHS wrestling team, which will be introduced to the public at the matches.



Former wrestlers are encouraged to participate in order to help put on a fun show for the public and help the current team purchase much needed equiptment and cover other costs.  Cost to attend is $3 for adults and $2 for kids.  Regardless of how old or out of shape you “think” you are, all alumni are encouraged to participate just for fun.   Even if you don’t want to wrestle in the event, organizers invite you to participate, as the alumni will be introduced and recognized at the event.
