The Monument Valley Cougar basketball team opens the 1A state tournament at 2:30 p.m. on February 28 with a game against Bryce Valley at Richfield High School. They defeated West Ridge Academy in a play-in game on February 24 by a score of 63-58. The Lady Cougars play Valley at 7 p.m. at the Sevier Valley Center.
