The royalty for the 2012 Blue Mountain Round-up Rodeo at the San Juan County Fair was crowned on May 25.

Pictured left to right are Princess Attendant Megan Grover of Blanding, Princess Kourtney Backus of Spanish Valley, Rodeo Queen Amanda Grover of Blanding, and Queens Attendant Kesley Backus of Spanish Valley.

Eight girls competed for titles at the event and rode exceptionally well despite the excessive wind storm they faced.

The 2012 San Juan County Fair will begin with the Rodeo on August 3 and run through August 11, with special guest star John Michael Montgomery performing a concert on August 9. The Rodeo Royalty will be joined in their reign by the Miss San Juan County Royalty, who will be crowned on June 8 at the scholarship contest in Blanding.
