Student members of the Monticello High School SAVY Club (Service Association of Volunteer Youth), recently sponsored a “Teddy Bear Round Up” to gather teddy bears and other stuffed animals.

They collected more than 203 gently loved animals, which were donated to Seek Haven in Moab and the Gentle Iron Hawk Shelter in Blanding. The 43 brand new bears that were collected are going to a children’s hospital.

SAVY officials thank all who donated the stuffed animals. Donors gave: “A little hug, A little snug, A little toy, To bring you joy.”
