The precipitation of the storm ended up providing the majority of precipitation for the entire month. The first three weeks of November were warm and dry, with worries about a drought continuing to build. In the end, the storm brought monthly precipitation to close to normal levels.
While summer and winter weather has remained close to normal in recent years, there have been dryer than normal seasons in the spring and fall.
In 2007, a dry and warm November turned into a wet and bitter cold December.
