Submissions

The submission deadline for the San Juan Record print edition is each Friday at noon.  To submit information or for more information, please email to news@sjrnews.com, mail to PO Box 879 Monticello, UT 84535, fax to 435-587-3377, or drop by at 49 South Main Street in Monticello.

News Tips:  You are our eyes and ears.  Please feel free to submit any news tips or questions about San Juan County.

General submissions: We appreciate the submission of stories, photos, press releases and more.  The best photos are submitted as digital documents, but we also can scan photos.

Letters to the Editor: We welcome Letters to the Editor.  They should be 500 words or less, be signed, and include contact information for the author.  We reserve the right to edit letters for length, clarity, and to eliminate libelous or tasteless material.

Obituaries:  Obituaries are $50.  There is no charge for a funeral notice.  Please limit obituaries to 500 words or less.  Digital photos are ideal.

Photo of the Week:  Email submissions for our Photo of the Week contest. We pay $10 for each photo that runs in the San Juan Record.
