Jeremy Hoggard is a long time resident who was raised in Monticello and has owned Get Go Signs, Graffix and Apparel since 1999.

Hoggard says he wants to be on the council because he loves the community, wants his business to be successful and wants to support his family here.

Hoggard previously served a four year term on the city council and believes he has the drive, skills and determination to do the job well again.

He praised the hard working employees of the city and said that city has taken a turn for the better and is headed down the right road.

Financial self sufficiency is a priority for the city, according to Hoggard. He says he has experience with the city budget and various funds that will help accomplish that goal.

Hoggard is an active member of the Chamber of Commerce in Monticello and Moab, as well as a member of the Rotary Club and the Chairman of the Golf Committee.

“I am a passionate person about small business growth and creating economic opportunities,” said Hoggard, in addition to having concerns about housing, quality schools and safe neighborhoods.
