Wind storm takes down Monument Valley towers

A recent freak wind storm near the Monument Valley Family Learning Center, took down a radio tower, solar panels and radios, resulting in broadcast disruption for up to three weeks until the towers are replaced.

Jay Jones, of USU Distance Education Technology, is working with Utah Education Network (UEN) and San Juan School District to get things up and running as quickly as possible, said Heather Young, of USU-Eastern.
