for Blanding City Council

Born in New York, I graduated from Brigham Young University. I spent 27 years as a retail executive working in fifteen different states before coming to Blanding in 2005.

Since living in Blanding I have volunteered to serve the community in many organizations.

My service includes The Chamber Of Commerce, The Kigalia Fine Arts Council, The Blanding 4th of July Parade Committee, The Blue Mountain Hospital Foundation, The Blanding Prevention Awareness Council and The Blanding Thanksgiving Dinner Committee.

I earned an appointment to the Blanding City Council in 2012.

I believe in a limited form of minimally restrictive government.

The City of Blanding should provide those services that the citizens themselves cannot provide such as Water, Gas and Electric utilities, safety services such as Police and Fire protection and roads construction and maintenance.

The City is also responsible to provide a high quality of life for its citizens.

Economic development should be a paramount priority fostering a business friendly environment and promoting the many popular sites and activities surrounding our Basecamp To Adventure to all potential visitors.

I have been and will continue to be easily accessible, willing to listen and active in supporting Blanding’s citizens in any worthwhile cause.

I will continue to promote fiscal responsibility and budgetary restraint in Blanding City government.
