Four Corners School staff will lead guests on a tour of the building, some of its learning station exhibits, and the campus.
Renowned storyteller and flutist Aldean Ketchum will be on hand to play music and entertain guests as they experience unique educational programs about the earth, sky, water, and people of the Colorado Plateau.
Then, everyone is welcome to join staff and board for speakers and hors-d’oeuvres from 6:30 to 8 p.m.
After almost 15 years of work, Four Corners School welcomes the local community to the Canyon Country Discovery Center.
Four Corners School wants to share its excitement about the new campus and thank everyone who helped along the journey with an invite to attend the first public event.
Work on campus programs, learning station exhibits, and outfitting buildings will continue for months to come.
Starting December 10, the Discovery Center will open to visitors free of charge every Thursday and Friday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. until March 11.
The campus will be open with regular hours on March 15, 2016. School groups, conference planners, and tour operators are encouraged to schedule outreach and campus events over the winter for a nominal fee.
