Time is beginning to run out for local residents who are participating in the 101 Ways to Experience San Juan County contest.

The contest ends on September 30 and entries will be due to the San Juan Record by Friday, October 7.

Dozens of people are reportedly involved in the race to wrack up as many points as possible.

An annual publication of the San Juan Chamber of Commerce and San Juan Record, 101 Ways to Experience San Juan County, lists a host of fun ideas for newcomers and old timers alike. The mini-adventures cover the length and breadth of San Juan County.

Submit your entries on Instagram at #sjr101 or send them to us at the San Juan Record. Our email address is sjrnews@frontiernet.net. Mailing address is PO Box 879 Monticello, UT 84535 and the office is located at 49 South Main in Monticello.

Winners will vie for the grand prize: a jeep adventure or river trip from Four Corners Adventures. The next four winners will receive vouchers for four to a San Juan County restaurant. The remaining winners will receive a #sjr101 travel bag.
