Blanding City Council
4-year term

My name is Logan Monson and I have lived in Blanding most of my life. I grew up here and now have the privilege of raising my family here in.

As we have seen there will be in an increase of visitors to our community. This is something we need to be prepared for. My idea of being prepared is helping and preparing the small businesses, and local residents.

As a new small business owner, my goal is to support and help build a strong local economy that doesn’t need to rely on large corporations and businesses.

We shouldn’t go out of our way to provide more for those that are passing through; rather we need to find ways that will benefit Blanding residents first.

The city has worked hard; we have a great recreation center, and recreation program. We can continually improve this program by using community input.

Those that live here should get a say in what they would like to see done.

Community resources

I want there to be more information and resources available to the community.

I would like to see opportunities for small businesses’ to resource together, I would like to see community information readily available on social media.

I want to see Blanding continue to grow and be successful together as a community.

Community Unity

I would like to see the community come together to accomplish those things that are important to all of us.

Some examples of this would be; service projects, beautification contests, small community gatherings that promote community unity.

This is just a start, I would like to hear from you!
