Evelyn Adele Turek was born at 2:45 a.m. on Wednesday, January 3, 2018. She weighed in at 6 pounds, 5 ounces and is 20 inches long. Dr. Casey McCullough was the attending physician and helped bring Evelyn into the world.
Evelyn is the first daughter of Alyssa and Kent Turek of Blanding. She was welcomed into the family by mom and dad, and three brothers Nathan, age 8, Owen, age 6 and Kellen, age 4.
As the San Juan County New Years Baby, Evelyn also received several fine gifts from local businesses.
Businesses donating gifts this year include: San Juan Pharmacy, Redd’s Ace Hardware, Pop’s Burritos, Homestead Steakhouse, The Patio, Classic Air Care, Blanding Quilters Guild, James R. Brandt Excavation and Welding, Old West RV Park (James and Christina Brandt) San Juan Record, and Mo’s Ceramics and Gifts (Melissa Shelton).
The hospital are grateful to all these businesses for their generous donations, and they wish the Turek Family, and their new baby girl, all the best.
