Being a city council member has given me a new appreciation for the time and effort that is put forth in our wonderful community. Change is a given in any community, and it has been an interesting learning experience to witness and be a part of the many developments that have taken place in our community within the past four years.
During the 14 years I have lived in Monticello I have been employed by San Juan School District. I have taught woodshop, Driver Education, and Career Exploratory classes at Monticello High. I enjoy my time in the classroom working with the youth of this area as well as outdoors on the beautiful greens of the Hideout Golf Course as the boys and girls golf coach.
It has been a pleasure to raise my four children in this caring community. My wonderful wife Ramona has been my companion for the past 25 years and encourages me to be an active part in making this town a place for future generations to love and call home.
Thank you for allowing me to serve as your past city councilman. I hope you will consider me as a valuable candidate and future asset to this area. Your vote is your future; make it count.
