I was born and raised in Monticello. After graduating from MHS in 1995, I moved to the Salt Lake Valley. It’s there that I met and married my amazing husband, Curtis. We have five children.
In 2006, after 11 years in the “BIG City,” we moved back to Monticello. We couldn’t have picked a better place to raise our kids.
Keeping Monticello beautiful and ensuring public access remains open to the places we all love is near and dear to my heart. I love Monticello and want my kids to have the opportunity to live here and raise their own families.
Monticello needs opportunities for future generations. This can be achieved by working together to support and maintain the much-needed diverse economic growth in our city, while maintaining the small-town spirit we all cherish.
I feel in order to responsibly support future growth in Monticello, there needs be a well devised short- and long-term plan. Water acquisition and storage is crucial for our community’s ability to not only thrive, but to prosper.
I would love the opportunity to address these and other issues if elected to serve on the Monticello City Council.
