Snowdrifts up to 16 feet deep in places line highways coming into Monticello from all directions, a reminder of the great blizzards of 2008. Most of the near record snows this winter have arrived on a Polar express that included high wind, 90 degree incoming flakes and huge drifts. Buckley Jensen photo
