A shiny and almost good-as-new Big Four Tractor led the way at the annual Pioneer Day parade in Monticello on July 26. Volunteer leaders Winn Westcott and Steve Young led an exhausting effort to restore the tractor and they came oh-so-close to meeting their goal of having the tractor run the parade under its own steam. Three of the four pistons in the massive tractor were operational, but it wasn't quite enough. See more photos here. Staff photo
