Jacoby Johnson and a host of volunteers recently completed an exhaustive project to index obituaries in the San Juan Record. They carefully documented each of the 2,500 plus obituaries that have been published over the past 50 years. Earlier obituaries can be found online at the Utah Digital Newspapers website, which is accessed through www.sjrnews.com. Johnson’s Eagle Scout project generated more than 300 hours of volunteer service. Call or e-mail the San Juan Record if you would like more information. Staff photo
