Imagine after 95 years (95 is no typo!) still having fun with your school buddies?

Three of Blanding’s grande dames are turning 95 years young this year: Ardell Palmer Black Ostergaard (September 21), Elizabeth “Beth” Carroll Wright (October 23), and Hattie Louise Guymon Jones (December 20). All three were born in 1912 in Blanding, attended school together and have remained friends to this day. They still get together to play cards or watch a movie and always to have a laugh or two about old times.

To celebrate this grand occasion, families and friends are inviting the public to attend a reception on October 26 to commemorate this special point in time for these three ladies. The reception will be 5 to 7 p.m. in the Cultural Hall of the Blanding North LDS Chapel.

All are invited to attend. Light refreshments will be served.
