Charley Jenkins to perform holiday concert

Charley Jenkins has been a huge hit at the San Juan County Fair, where he has opened the annual concert for the past three years. His great music, amazing voice, and energetic personality have won over the fans in San Juan County and our neighboring counties. Charley loves preforming in San Juan County and interacting with the loyal fan base he has built here so much that he is coming back for a special show.
Charley Jenkins and his band will be in Monticello on Thursday, December 2, where they will perform their special Christmas show.  The special event is being held as a fund raiser for Monticello High School in conjunction with the San Juan County Fair.
The show will give fans a full show of Charleys music, including a selection of holiday songs to set the tone for the season. The show will be a more personal and intimate atmosphere, allowing fans to get to know Jenkins and the members of the band. Santa will even be on hand at the special event.
Charley Jenkins made his TV Debut by making it to the top 12 on 2008’s Nashville Star competition on NBC. He grew up on a dairy farm in Roosevelt and attended Ricks College, where he started his singing career. Charley had three CD’s out. Jenkins, his wife and daughter, make their home in Murray, UT. Jenkins is making a great name for himself, headlining many shows each year, including this special Cowboy Christmas concert.
Tickets are a bargain at $15 and include dinner at Monticello High School. Dinner includes split chicken breast, dutch oven potatoes, salad and dessert. Dinner is served from 5 to 7 p.m. in the MHS cafeteria. The show begins at 7:30 p.m. with the doors opening at 6:30 p.m
