New Year’s Baby makes New Year’s Day arrival at Blue Mtn Hospital

The 2021 San Juan County New Year’s Baby wasted little time while making an appearance on New Year’s Day at Blue Mountain Hospital in Blanding.

Ryder Osuna Monroe Phillips is the son of Truvilla Marie Greyhair and Kyle Phillips.

The New Year’s baby was welcomed by friends and family and received a host of gifts from local businesses, including the San Juan Pharmacy, Christina Brandt, San Juan Credit Union, Patio Drive-in, my529, the Flower Shop, and the San Juan Record.  

In contrast, the New Year’s Baby at San Juan Hospital took his sweet time before finally arriving on January 7 at 10:22 p.m.

Alexander Desmond Bates is the son of Melinda Morrison and Joseph Bates. The baby boy was delivered by Dr. Michael Nielson.
