New decor business opens in Monticello
Monticello’s newest business, Addison’s Attic, recently opened. The store, at 16 East 200 South, is full of home decor, beautifully displayed and well priced.
The owners, Liz and Cole Young, began the business because of Liz’s love of interior design.
“I have always lived on a budget, so I’ve had to be creative in decorating my own home. I received many compliments from guests who entered my home.
“Friends and family have asked if I would decorate their homes for them. After doing a few homes, I gained experience and a love for refinishing old furnishings. I also love to take something that was thought to be trash, and give it new life.
“I hope to be able to show people the possibilities of a beautiful home on any budget,” said Young.
The name of the store comes from the Young’s only daughter Addison Shay. “I love my three boys, but their names didn’t sound as good with the word attic...and because she is my princess.”
Addison’s Attic thanks Brandy and Tyrel Cressler and Rob and Carolyn Young for their help and support.
From vases to kitchen cabinets, Addison’s Attic has something for all tastes.
Hours are Monday through Thursday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and is located at 16 East 200 South Suite D.
