Alice Faye Ogden Rogers

August 25, 1939 ~ August 20, 2008

Alice Faye Ogden was born in Logan, Utah on August 25, 1939. She passed away August 20, 2008.

She was the third child of James Arden Ogden and Bertie Mae Ormond.

The family moved to Ogden, where Alice grew up. She graduated from Ben Lomond High School in 1957. That same year, she married Kenneth Garner in the Salt Lake Temple. They had two children and were later divorced.

In 1967, Alice married John (Cal) Pipkin and moved on a farm near Monticello. They later divorced.

Alice married Howard Rogers Jr. in 1979 and moved into Monticello. They were sealed in the Monticello Temple on Valentines Day, 2003.

Alice worked in the cafeteria at the hospital, then she and Howard operated Hogies Restaurant for several years.

Alice was active in the Eastland Branch of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and served many people. She loved animals and raised goats, chickens and cats.

Alice enjoyed cross stitch, canning, knitting, crocheting, making flower arrangements, and just spending time with friends and family.

Alice is survived by brothers Wallace Ogden and Tom Ogden; sister Vera Bakker; children Mary Ann (Jeff) Hershkowitz of St. George, UT, and Richard (Martha) Garner of Monticello; stepchildren Howard Rogers III of Monticello and Terry (Mark) Robinson of Monticello; 16 grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.

She is greatly missed.
