Lillian Rosalie Zufelt

October 27, 1922 ~ March 10, 2015
Lillian Rosalie Zufelt passed away March 10, 2015 in Blanding, UT surrounded by her daughters and their husbands.
Rosalie was born October 27, 1922 to Hazel Mahala Livesay and Leonard Emmet Smith in Center, CO.
She married Robert Floyd Zufelt on April 11, 1942. They had four children, Robert Ray, Gloria Jean, Jack, and Jeroldene.
To those who knew her, she was referred to as Grandma Patches, the Pink Lady, Grandma Z, Miss Pink Wonder, Mrs. Page Arizona, Mama Zia and Mom.
Before coming to live in Blanding, UT in 2011, she lived in Page, AZ for 30 years. There she dedicated her life to serving others, whether it was in church or in her community. She was very active in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and held many callings throughout her life.
In her 50’s, she entered a beauty contest just for the fun of it representing Page, AZ hence Mrs. Page Arizona.
She won Mrs. Congeniality for the State of Arizona. She was also nominated and received an award for the “12 Who Care Hon Kachina Award” from TV channel 12 in Arizona, in recognition of those who do extraordinary service to those in need.
One of mom’s biggest joys in life was her family. She was very thankful to have her family sealed to her for time and all eternity. Mom always said, “If you put your best foot forward, the best will come back to you.” Mom definitely  lived up to that philosophy. Mom will be dearly missed by all of us who knew her and loved her.
