Mary Colleen O’Neill Noonan

Mary Colleen O’Neill Noonan, third child of Earl Lee O’Neill and Fannie Corinne Ney, passed away on Wednesday, July 3 during a “life flight” from Blanding, UT to Durango, CO.
Colleen was born and grew up in Hondo, TX. Sheattended Hondo High School and graduated in 1945.
“Miss Hondo” was married to Ralph Joseph Noonan Jr. on the 4th of July, 1947, in Hondo.
She was blessed with five children.
She is survived by Jack Noonan, Mary Lea Linton, Peggy Perkins and her granddaughter Molly Noonan, daughter of Sally Jo.
The family moved to Blanding in the southeast corner of Utah in 1954 during the uranium boom, and the family home is still there.
Colleen’s ashes will be returned to Hondo, there to be interred with her husband and two children which preceding her in death, Decker Robert Noonan and Sally Jo Noonan.
