New San Juan County officials sworn-in

The oath of office was administered to San Juan County elected officials by members of the judiciary at a brief ceremony on January 3. All five officials will begin their first terms of elected service. It was a Republican sweep in the November General Election, and as a result, the county government will be all Republican for the first time in decades. Participating in the event are: (front row, left to right) Commissioner Silvia Stubbs, Judge Mary Manley, Attorney Brittney Ivins, Commissioner Jamie Harvey. Back row: Clerk / Auditor Lyman Duncan, Sheriff Lehi Lacy, Judge Alex Goble, and Judge Lyon Hazelton. Staff photo
