MHS football homecoming scrimmage

The 2021 Monticello High School football team has two wins and six losses headed into the final game of the regular season. They played an inter-squad scrimmage this past Friday, October 8 for homecoming and senior night.

The game ended in an 18-18 tie with Javlin Robison rushing for two touchdowns and Landon Ewart catching a touchdown pass for the White uniform team.

Logan Draper made two touchdown catches and Thomas Fullmer returned a kickoff for a TD for the Black uniform team. J.D. McDonald played offense for both teams and threw three touchdown passes. Senior quarterback Devin Hatch, who was injured in the second game of the season, threw one touchdown pass.

The Buckaroos travel to Randolph this Thursday, October 14 to close out their regular season against the 0-7 Rich Rebels. Kickoff is at 4 p.m., and you can catch all the action live on Redrock 92.7 FM and pictureitpalmer.com.
