The winter of 2008-09, which started with such promise in December, has whimpered to a close in March with the earliest thaw since Sno-tel records began to be recorded in 1986.
Montezuma Creek EMS was awarded a $3,000 grant from the Rocky Mountain Power Foundation.
Spring Break ended with a bang on March 22 when high winds caused damage at several locations in San Juan County, including the main intersection in Blanding.
On March 7, at the 37th annual Utah All-State High School Art Show Awards Ceremony in Springville, Michael V. Porter was awarded “Outstanding Art Educator of the Year”.
