Construction crews recently knocked down four classrooms at Monticello Elementary School (the 5th and 6th grade rooms). A new school is set to open in August, 2014.
Part-time San Juan County resident David Bieber passed through the county on June 3 on a cross-country drive on his restored World War II Harley Davidson DWA 45 Solo motorcycle.
