Beautiful yards are recognized by Monticello Beautification Committee
The July xeriscape award in Monticello is presented to Jeremy and Staci Hoggard and their business GetGo Signs.
They have recently gave 100 South a facelift. The festive American bunting draping their front doors and delightfully colored flower pots adorning the business front compliment the focal point of the yard.
The southeast Utah landscape is brought into town with a fun collection of rock cairns and arches.
Staci said the rocks primarily come from their personal collection. The eye-catching arch comes from Jeremy’s father’s collection. The small landscape adds a fun and artful spin on yards in town.
Reid and Stephanie Chapman earned the beautiful yard award. They work endlessly on their yard during the summer, and it shows in the clean and tidy appearance.
Every summer they choose a major project, working towards making the yard of their dreams.
The couple teams up on responsibilities of the yard. Reid deals with everything lawn related, while Stephanie takes charge of anything that blossoms.
She loves experimenting with varieties of flowers and stresses the importance of using mulch in flower beds to retain moisture and control weeds.
