Blanding hosts Beehive Drive cars

About a dozen of the coolest sports cars you will ever see came roaring into Blanding on July 30. By the time they left, residents had an opportunity to see the cars and the organization left a $6,000 check with the City of Blanding.
The Mayor was presented with $6,000 to use towards community betterment projects, with $2,000 from Beehive Drive and $2,000 from Wing Enterprises (members of the Wing family participated in the Beehive Drive).
The other $2,000 is an anonymous donation from another participant.
Blanding is one of three stops along the way. They also made stops in Fairview and Helper. It ended with a banquet in Salt Lake City.
The Beehive Drive is a nonprofit organization that partners with the Utah Highway Patrol. They provide charitable donations to various causes, including the Honoring Heroes Foundation and communities and organizations throughout Utah.
In 2013, donations exceeded $150,000 to various Utah causes.
