House fire in Blanding

A private home in Blanding was fully engaged in flames on Friday, March 24. The fire, reported to be an electrical fire, continues to burn as of 11:30 a.m. on the block between 400 and 500 West and Center Street and 100 North. The occupants of the home are reported to be safe and uninjured, but the home appears to be a total loss. Blanding City Fire responded to the fire and are leading the firefighting effort.
