Blue Mountain Native Club

It was with great excitement that on January 27, 2010, the San Juan High School Blue Mountain Native Club traveled to Arizona to participate in the 37th Annual Rock Point Festival Annual Song and Dance competition. The group won trophies in Duet, Group, Nidaa’, Fire Dance and Corn Grinding.  They were accompanied by Jewel Yanito and Brenda James, members of the San Juan High School staff.  Native Club members include: (back row left to right) Harlan Shepherd, Creedence Sampson, Torrence Stash, Audrey Luttrell, Shilo Stanley, Melanie Daniels, Trevor Buck, Tanisha Bitsinnie.
